FAQ
Q: DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM ORDERS?
A: Absolutely! Availability / timeline depends on my current workload and the scope of the project. If you have something in mind, email me at brettsauveart@gmail.com with details and we can talk it through.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR RETURN/EXCHANGE POLICY?
A: Because most of my work is made to order, I don’t usually accept returns or exchanges. If something arrives damaged or there’s an issue with the piece, please email me and we’ll figure it out.
Q: HOW CAN I PURCHASE ONE OF YOUR PIECES?
A: I am currently unable to accept payments through my website, but please email me at brettsauveart@gmail.com if you see something you would like to buy! I accept Venmo, PayPal, Apple Pay, CashApp and good ol' cash.
Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET MY ORDER?
A: Turnaround time varies depending on the piece. For sculptures, if possible, I prefer to meet up in person and hand deliver your piece due to the fragility and sheer mass / weight of my work. For prints, clothing, or if meeting up is not possible I can absolutely ship items out to you for an additional shipping fee. Most items are shipped out in 5-7 days. Custom orders may take 2-3 weeks.
Q: DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?
A: I am only able to ship items from my website to the US.
Q: DO THE PRINTS COME WITH FRAMES?
A: My prints do not come with frames.
Q: WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT FROM RAKU OR HANDMADE WORK?
A: Raku and handmade ceramics are intentionally unpredictable. Variations, cracks, smoke marks, and irregularities are part of the process and part of what makes each piece what it is.
Q: DO YOU OFFER WORKSHOPS OR PRIVATE CLASSES?
A: Yes. I teach hand building, glazing, and raku workshops. Upcoming classes are listed on the site, and I also offer semi-private workshops (4–6 people). Email me if you’re interested!
Q: CAN I SEE PIECES IN PERSON?
A: Yes. I regularly show work at markets, galleries, and pop-ups, which are listed on the site when available. Studio visits are also possible by appointment only. If you’re interested in seeing work in person or have questions about a specific piece, feel free to reach out.
